  • What is Acorn TV?
    Acorn TV streams world-class mysteries, dramas, and comedies from Britain and beyond, including a full slate of original and exclusive programming.
  • Do I need an account to use Acorn TV?
    If you already use one of the other RB Digital programs, you do not need to create an account, Simply use your current login information. If this is your first RB Digital experience, then you will need to create an account with your email address and library card number.
  • Does Acorn TV have an app?
    Acorn TV is a RB Digital program and uses the RB Digital app found in your app store.
  • Acorn TV says I only get a 7 day trial with my library; what does this mean?
    Acorn TV is checked out to you for 7 days at a time. When your 7 days are up, go back to the library website and 'check out' a new session.
    Note: Please do not click on any link within the Acorn TV app or website that says "click to start your free trial". This will lead you to create an account with them that you will be charged for later and has nothing to do with the library.
  • Can I use Axis 360 on my device?
    Axis 360 works with all iOS devices running iOS 8 or later (click here to download the app), all Android devices running Android 4.4.2 or later (click here to download the app), & Kindle Fire Devices. To View which Kindle Fire devices are supported, click here. For Windows PCs and Macs, you can use our Read Now browser-based reader.
  • How do I set up an account for Axis 360?
    Download the app from your app store.
    Open app and sign in using your library card number and pin (last 4 digits of card number).
  • How long does the item check out for?
    EBooks check out for 2 weeks.
  • How do I return my ebook?
    Once you have finished with the book, on the book summary screen there will be a button that says "return", click it and your book will be returned. Ebooks automatically return when your check out period has expired.
  • Can I renew my ebooks?
    At this time you may not renew ebooks with Axis 360.
  • How many ebooks can I check out?
    You may have up to 3 ebooks checked out at one time.
  • Will I need data/internet to read my ebook?
    Once you have downloaded your ebook you will not need data/internet to read it. For more FAQ's check out the Axis 360 Help site.
  • What is Great Courses?
    Award-winning experts and professors from the most respected institutions in the world teach courses that range from a myriad of subjects and includes: History, Health, Sciences, & Language Arts.
  • How does it work?
    With a 7-day pass, you’ll arrive at the Great Courses homepage with full access to all of their content. When your access expires, you can always return to RBdigital to checkout another 7-day pass.

  • What is IndieFlix?
    IndieFlix is a streaming movie service that offers access to pop culture favorites, box office hits, award-winning feature films, documentaries, and shorts.
  • How does it work?
    With a 7-day pass, you’ll arrive at the IndieFlix homepage with full access to all of their content. When your access expires, you can always return to RBdigital to checkout another 7-day pass.
  • Do I need an account?

  • How do I know what the films are rated?
    Independent films are not rated. Watch at your own discretion.
  • What is Pongalo?
    Pongalo is Spanish language telenovelas and translated movies streamed on demand to all popular devices.

  • How does it work?

  • How do I set up an account for RB Digital?
    Open your browser and go to www.hermanbrownlibrary.org.
    Click on eLibrary
    Click on any RB Digital service - this will open the Magic Wall
    Click on the Register button or the small person icon
    Create an account using your email and library card information
    Download the RB digital app from your app store
    Open the app and login with the login you just created
  • If I have an RB digital account set up for eAudiobooks do I need to create another one for magazines?
    No, one RB Digital account can access eAudiobooks, aBooks, eMagazines, Acorn TV, Great Courses, Pongalo, Stingray Qello, and Transparent Languages.
  • Why is there only a hold button?
    An audiobook or eBook title will display the hold button when another patron has the title checked out. The hold button may also be displayed if you have reached your maximum number of checkouts. In rare instances, the hold button will also be displayed if your library allows you to see titles that the library has purchased but are not yet available.

  • What is Qello?
    Stingray Qello is the world’s largest collection of full-length concerts and music documentaries streamed on-demand to just about any digital device.
  • Do I need internet to use Qello?
    Yes, you will need internet to watch the concerts. You cannot download them and watch them later.
  • Do I need an account?
    If you already use one of the other RB Digital programs, you do not need to create an account, Simply use your current login information. If this is your first RB Digital experience, then you will need to create an account with your email address and library card number.
  • What is the TexShare Database?
    TexShare Databases are e-resources licensed for the exclusive use of Texas libraries and their patrons. Start with TexShare for homework help, health or business information, academic journals, popular magazines, genealogy, or job and career development.
  • What are some of the resources available?
    Articles, Journals, Magazines, and Newspapers, Books and Literature, Business Resources, Career Development and Online Learning, Do-It-Yourself Reference Centers, Health and Medical, History and Genealogy, Legal Resources, Science and Technology.
  • Do I need to create an account?
    No, you do not need to create an account.  Please see a librarian for the login information.
  • Is this the program where you get a library card that is used at multiple Texas libraries?
    No,  The Burnet County Library System is not part of the TexShare Card program.
  • What Languages are available?
    Transparent Languages offers over 100 languages for English speakers and English as a second language for over 25 languages. For a complete list of languages offered click here.
  • Is my device compatible?
    Most smart phones and tablets are compatible. Check your app store for the app or you can use your browser.
  • Do I need to create an account?

  • Will my progress be saved?
    Transparent Languages works in lessons. After you have finished a lesson it will note that you have completed it. You can repeat lessons as many times as necessary.
  • Is my device compatible? Zinio is an RB Digital program and uses the RB Digital App found in your app store.
  • How do I access my magazines? Open the RB Digital app and select my stuff. Select the magazine from the selection and enjoy.
  • How long do I have access to the magazines I have checked out? Magazines that you have checked out stay in your app until you delete them.
  • Do I need data/internet to read my magazines? Data/internet is required to check out and download magazines. Once a magazine has been downloaded however, you will not need data/internet to read it.
  • How many magazines can I have checked out at a time? This depends on the amount of storage space on your device. RB Digital does not limit how many you may have out at one time.
  • Do I need to create an account? If you already use one of the other RB Digital programs, you do not need to create an account, Simply use your current login information.
