Join us in celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Burnet County Library System, which has grown from a single room on the third floor of the old county jailhouse to a five-branch system. The event will kick off at the Burnet County Historic Jail, the library's original location, and continue next door at the Burnet Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, the site of the first purpose-built library. Guests will have the chance to explore a brief history of the library system, connect with former staff, tour the library's first two locations, and enjoy light refreshments.
