April 2022 Green Thumb Program

The Green Thumb Program sponsored by the Highland Lakes Master Gardners for the month of April will be on Tuesday, April 19th at Herman Brown Free Library from 1 – 2 P.M. The library is located at 100 E. Washington St. Burnet, 78611.

Guest speaker will be Burnet County Agri-Life Extension Agent Kelly Tarla. Kelly will discuss Turf Grass Pests and Diseases.

Kelly has a Masters Degree in Agriculture Education and has been a school teacher in Higgins, Academy, and Florence Texas.

She was also a County Extension Agent for 4 – H and Youth Development in Bastrop County. Kelly has served the citizens of Burnet County and surrounding areas since 2015.
